My wife and I went to the local gun shop to buy more ammo. While I was "browsing" I spotted a Swede Mauser M-96 that said it should go home with me. While I was fondling and caressing it my wife walked up and asked me if I liked it. My response was "we came to buy bullets", she said buy it if you want it - Happy Birthday. Can't wait till Fri. when I can go shoot it - if it quits raining. Can any one suggest any good web sites so I can learn more about the newest addition to my family?

Don't know anything about it, just wanted to say congrats.
We only have a few special years with our children in which they desire our time, attention, and love. After that time is over, it is gone forever, and we will be the ones that desire their time, attention, and love. Make those few, short years count - don't miss it!!!

For information on your Swede check this out: www.storm.ca/~debin666/html/mausers.html If that doesn't work go to Google.com and type in Swedish Mauser and hit search.

Go to www.gunandknife.com. They have forums on all kinds of rifles, including Swedish Mausers. I posted a question there about my Swede and found myself getting advise from some very knowledgeable people in Sweden.

My wife did that same thing about a year ago for our anniversary. I was in putting a beretta on lay away and she came up and said just buy it now. Happy anniversary. What a woman.

Where do you guys find these wives? The last time I purchased a new gun and ammo, my wife opened the ammo box, took out one round and told the clerk that was all we were going to need. Still can't figure out what she meant.
