    Interesting cartoon. I have a number of gun-hating friends (gun-hating more out of ignorance than malice) who believe that guns exist solely for the purpose of killing human beings. They generally pause when I point out that the very strong or very numerous need no weapons to wreak violence on the rest of us to bend us to their will, and that the true purpose of a firearm, or any weapon for that matter, is to give those of us who are not as strong some chance against these people.
