News... Who do you trust?

I watch the news a lot, because of the crap thats mostly on TV. I was just wondering who you really trust to give you the "correct" news? I mostly watch Fox, and the BBC for their view. The local channels tend to stray from the truth. I am also a big fan of the O'rielly Factor. I just wondered who you really trust.

I feel fox news is the closest thing in todays media blitzkrieg that you can get to the truth. I like O Reilly, He tells it like he sees it, kinda like a modern day Howard Cosell. I cant stand cnn(clinton news network), nbc, cbs, abc, cnbc, ect. They are all socialist run news agencies.

When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

I get my news from Josey1

But when I do get around to watching TV...I watch Fox News. I've noticed that, although they may all be biased, Fox is about as close to real as you can get. They usually have both sides of the issue. O'reiley has guests that represent both sides of a story, and Hannity and Colmes has that annoying Alan Colmes giving the liberal point of view while Sean Hannity badgers the guests with direct no BS questions and tries to get the straight answers.

Thats about all I watch as far as news...maybe I'll watch some of the local stuff...but all i believe are the headlines...and sometimes even that's a stretch.

i think o'reilly is great but those three * on "fox and friends" are the rudest people ive ever seen.
seems like all they do is interupt each other or all talk at once.
fair & balanced news, my tailbone.

This is the one justification I can think of for why men are "remote-flickers." When there's breaking news, I find myself picking bits of info from MSNBC, CNN and FOX, and occasionally CNBC, and of course the 3 networks if they're doing special coverage. I find that with judicious channel-flipping, as in the case of the 9 miners, I can get more info from all of them together than from any single channel alone. Each news outlet by itself is liable to get a piece of misinformation, and each is likely to get a scoop on something. For example, MSNBC had the first miner interview. But CNN often has a correspondent where someone else can't get one. Fox sometimes has coverage when the others are wallowing in commentary and shouting matches. So I have to have all my sources, and frankly I wish there were more. I probably like Tim Russert and Ashleigh Banfield best in terms of individual reporters. I believe Russert is the one who said the presidential election would come down to "Florida, Florida, Florida," and Banfield has been sincerely fearless in the Mid-East. She's a class act. I like Amanpour too, but since she got married she's been less visible. I'll watch Wolf Blitzer of course -- he's become cable's Dan Rather. And Dan himself is an American icon, as was Cronkite before him. It takes a big American heart to apoligize for crying on Letterman.
