They say to get what you want, you find someone who has what you want, and ask them how to get it.I was fortunate that a person like the one that I found was available to spend some time with me today... to talk about what I'd like to accomplish with training. He's a police and military instructor, and works with various agencies.Already he's shown me some serious flaws in what I believed was a great "system".... it would have worked in the movies.... I'm sure of it.I'll go more into what he's taught me later... but has anyone else sought help in real training.... was your previous plan fit for the movies as well?christian** racks slide of Glock 26 and slips it into the kydex holster - then pulls jacket on over **

Chris, I look at the problem like this:The tactics and guns used by the police and military will get you killed. Why? Sometimes the goodguy gets killed. Happens everyday. I read the papers. But 'The Modern Hollywood Method' seems to be the best method for staying alive and kicking butts. Frankly, I think Steven Seagal, Arnold, Bruce Willis, and Rambo should be the thinking man's combat role model. What better way to learn than to sit quietly and watch 'Pulp Fiction' for the 11th time, with a bowl of popcorn.Oh, and Jackie Chan for unarmed combat techniques, in an action adventure/comedy.
