Just wondering why I see so many of Bushmasters' variants of the Ar-15 posted as for sale. Is there something wrong with the models they have to chose from?

Anyone own one of these brand of rifles? How does the quality compare to a colt? will all the AR-15 type of rifles that are post ban accept hi-cap mags? Rosie

I placed my order for a M4-A3 a month ago and I called to check the status of my order and they said Im probably looking at another couple month wait. 14-16 weeks is a long time. I wonder why they cant crank them out a little faster.

I just called about my Bushmaster order. They said they were still running at 14 weeks. I orderd the gun Dec.6th so its gonna be the middle of March. They said they could send me a M4 A3 with a 14 inch barrel with izzy flash suppressor now. Im holding out for the 16 inch though. More accurate I would think. Any thoughts on the 14 inch carbine??

    Thanks,

I have one and love it, they appear better quality than the new colts.

As my handle suggests,I have a Bushmaster. It is my first and only AR.Before I bought it I compared it with a Colt side by side.I could see no quality difference that would justify the higher Colt price. If there is one which might appear after years of use I cannot say as I have only had my Bushy several months. It shoots every time I want it to and sometimes hits the X-ring.However,I think that is due to my lack of ability, not the guns.I like mine just fine and the difference in price has bought alot of ammo.

Bushmaster is a respected AR manufacturer. I have had mine for 2 years and have no complaints. I actually like it better than my friends Amralite.Jim

Bushmaster recently began catching up on backordered deliveries. Now there are more rifles available for sale, and dealers are trolling for those who have not been able to find a Bushmaster for a while.Expect them to dry up again in a couple of months.

Right you are dano ... BushMaster has class and doesn't bend over before the Government even asks ... like Colt ...

I think the reason you see so many Bushmasters for sale is... that's what people are buying. You'll also find a great deal of Glocks for sale... and I don't think that anyone doubts that Glocks are a quality product in demand. Try to order a Bushmaster from the factory and find out how far back they're backordered... it's amazing.Today I was shooting a Bushmaster, an Olympic, and a Wilson Combat AR. I'm happy that the one that I ordered was a Bushmaster.Just my opinion.christian
