fishing reel question

I have a question about the Shakespeare Catera reel that has been so well reviewed in all the magazines. Is the Catera being marketed by WalMart as the Axiom? I have a buddy who has a Catera and I've been looking at an Axiom at WalMart and they seem EXACTLY the same. Same # of bearings, same rear drag, same model #, same paint job, etc. I'm thinking that Shakespeare an exclusive deal with some other companies for the Catera and so they just changed the name and sold it to WalMart. You know how companies sometimes do stuff like that. The Axiom is nowhere on the Shakespeare Fishing web page, which makes me think even more that this is true. Any thoughts?PS Am I starting to sound like Judge Dread? "Companies marketing the same product under different labels, monitoring people through the UPC codes, transmitters inserted in your brain by the US Army. . ." I apologize if I am.

Same. And it is common to do so.

Next you'll be saying the hook makers intentionally leave the hooks dull, and the pole makers pre break the tips on their rods and the line folks over rate their line, ARRGGHH its a conspiracy I tell you, I should have had the world record bluegill but because of them, all I have is a fish story. Easy there big fella.
