I just started messing with an old B&S tiller that was out behind the shed for three years. We were cleaning up and gonna junk it. I took off the air cleaner, sprayed some ether, and it started on the first pull, and ran on the third.

They don't make em like they used to.

Usually, if they've had gas left in them it's just a matter of cleaning the carb, and they fire right off. Pretty good engines.

I have a tiller made about 1965 and still use it every spring.It has a 5 HP Briggs and Stratton.Change the oil every year and put Sta-Bil in the gas and it might run forever.
