we built an addition to this dude's garage. poured the cement today.

dude is rich as hell, he's retired and had the addition built so he can put his MG in it. he was a manager for some engineering company. (Dorkus Amorcus I think, he was a nerd)

it's got 109 miles on it. this car is C-H-E-R-R-Y

it's so small, the wheelbase is as long as I am tall.

That is a nice one. Is the addition wide enough to open the door on the MG?

THE MG was great looking cars until they put those HIDEOUS 5 MPH bumpers on them to meet import laws.

should be enough to get in/out on both sides if you're careful. that spot in front was where he had it.

forgot the pic of the outside. had to lay 3" rain pipe underground, from the front corner around back, and dig around finding another pipe to T- into. all mud. ankle deep for 3 hours. that was a slop fest.

Rubber baby Buggy Bumpers. Mine has them. Wire wheels were not used on that year. Now my 68 MGB-GT has the knock off wheels.

Shame it only has 109 miles on it. I bought mine 42 years ago this month, a new 1973 with chrome numbers. Was my daily driver for years. Has about 90,000 on it now, not sure because the speedometer was broken for a while. Great fun to drive then, and still is. Who is he saving it for?? The best part of owning an MGB is driving it ... when it is running. But you have to enjoy working on it or you grow to hate it fast.

that's what has always puzzled me about people who store vintage cars. no matter how long you store it, it's only worth as much as a new car, rarely more. but it took up 8' x 14' in your garage for 40 years or whatever. was that worth it? no. just drive it and enjoy it.

I rode in one of those 'once'. Pretty scary when I looked in the side view mirror and was looking smack dab at the front differential of a concrete truck behind us. [:0]

You know they are low when You are in L,A, And a low rider passes you and you have to look up at them.

You learn to always wear comfortable shoes if you drove a British sports car.Chances are good you were going to walk for help or back home.
