    Every team I pull for seems to fall on their face, so if I could bring myself to be a damn Yankees fan, the D-backs would be assured of a World Series victory!Problem is, I can't make myself root for any team from New York. My solution? I just don't watch...... so... thanks for the update.

    Sorry fellas, Ol Rembrandt has been a Yankee fan since I got my Mickey Mantel ball glove. I grew up on Roger Marris and the greats of that time....Yankees represent the best of Baseball, the cream of the game. Historically no team has defined Baseball as have the Yankees......"It ain't over till it's over!"

    Rembrandt,Sorry to hear you're a Yankee fan, you seemed so level headed.I guess this year they're just 2nd best..... would that be sort of like the cottage cheese??I'll be glad to see less of Rudy and that damn hat!! I think someone should tell him there's no more political mileage in his headgear........He's beginning to look pretty stupid in public!

    A question for the group?Since Mr. Steinbrenner has steadfastly refused to revenue share or institute a salary cap, he has now forced MLB to retract. I see no end in site to this process, since they are taking two teams away and I can think of at least five more teams that have no chance of competing on any type of regular basis. Are the Yankees destined to become the Harlem Globetrotters? You know what I mean, the only Baseball will be the Yankees against a group of duds and the Yankees always win. They can go on tour to remind all of the former baseball fans in the other cities what baseball looked like back in the day. If the Yankees pick up either Bonds or Giambi in the off season, I'm done watching baseball for good.
