I can't believe my ears, but then again I can considering the source.MSNBC, just reported that "ex patriot" John Walker, is now on US soil, after a two year stint.MSNBC, obviously isn't reporting news; it is making it.This guy never was a PATRIOT. How can he be described as an EX anything.[This message has been edited by turbo (edited 01-24-2002).]

You left out his middle name for the subject. Should have been Johnny "Jihad" Walker. Then all those looking for red or black label wouldn't have gotten confused

I guess its a tough call for a parent in their situation. I don't have any kids yet, but I think that if my son pulled this kind of *, he would be disowned from the family, and not supported financially, or otherwise. Aside from that, I think the parents need to take a step back, and look at themselves for the trash they are, not being able to control their kid. I think they are just as guilty as he is.

i believe his parents created him- both phisically and mentally & are as much to blame as he is.as a rant, i have to say it pisses me off to no end when the media calls him "johnny",kinda like the nice little neihborhood boy everybody likes but done sompin wrong. B>S>turn off rant, over barto

They probably meant "expatriate". It has a different pronunciation on the last syllable but is often mispronounced to sound like ex-patriot.According to Merriam-WebsterExpatriate:1 : to withdraw (oneself) from residence in or allegiance to one's native country 2 : BANISH, EXILEintransitive senses : to leave one's native country to live elsewhere; also : to renounce allegiance to one's native country

Thanks for the definition, could have been in the hearing of the word.I'm against "abortions", but, those that are for, could sure use this guy to beef up their argument.Beter yet, imagine if his ole man,
Had been? News made him sound like a real loser.

I think John Walker is indeed in deep doo doo, but for now he is presumed innocent until proven guilty. That, however, should not be too hard to prove since it sure looks like he has already has confessed.
