I'm into personal defense and was curious as to what others read and why?

I haven't bought a TIME magazine since the editorial board came out with a statement that gun control was too important to sit on the fence about, so they were coming out in favor of it. I read and subscribe currently to Guns & Ammo and Handguns, and of course American Rifleman. I am about ready to add Combat Handguns and Guns & Weapons for Law Enforcement to that list. As a musician part time I also read the AMC and Musician's Friend catalogs. I read the Cheaper than Dirt catalog, and I'll buy Shotgun News, the Gun List. I also read the daily (conservative) newspaper. I'll also buy special issues of gun magazines when I find them -- some places I shop don't sell gun magazines. I also read my weekly classified paper called Peddler's Post and look for buys on guns -- when I have money.

American Rifleman (because I am an NRA member and always will be), Gun Tests (because it reportedly gives more objective reviews on guns due to the fact that it does not sell ad space)and Shotgun News (because I like to browse and am currently applying for a C&R license) occasionally when there are a few left on the shelf at the supermarket.[This message has been edited by idsman75 (edited 02-04-2002).]
