I have several smaller caliber handguns that I would like to trade or sell, to get something I want... ..[V]

I have always regreted trading or selling guns, but have one more handgun I would like to have.. [B)]

How would be the best way to sell or trade these..? [?] I know they are not worth much.. But....!

    How about some magic beans?

Seriously, they (GB) FROWNS HARD on putting for sale or trade stuff here. Might even rate a poof.

List them on the auctions, then use the proceeds to buy what you want. Or contact a seller like nunn and see if he can get what you want and take your's in trade towards it.

Yes...any "trade offers" are a no-go here on Gunbroker,It does make sense from a Business stand point they dont make any money if you swap with someone. Then on the other hand selling your guns here to buy new ones does not always make sense either Because if you are selling cheaper guns in the $100 range the FFL transfer fees (if needed) listing fee dont pay.Just bring your wares to the nearest gun show or do what i do Just put a "for sale" sign on them when your at the range,The range and shows is where the best swaping takes place.[^]

P3sk..is right, Your post may get snapped...
Try a gunshow or the auciton sight here.
You are likewise right, they won't be worth much.
Give them to someone who has no pistol and it might make alot of differnece to them if something went sour.

You can always auction an 8-shot .22 or even sell it in your local classifieds. You may even get $100 for your no-name .25, or more if it turns out to be a good old one. If you auction it with a pic, someone will certainly recognize it.

As for the thread, they can't make money on a straight trade anyway. Better you ask and we advise you to auction or advertise.

Have you ever read the "posting guidelines?"

quote:We do not allow the posting of 'For Sale' or 'For Trade' listings anywhere on these message forums. If you have something to sell, please post it on our auction site at http://www.gunbroker.com We do not allow `For Trade' listings anywhere on our auction site or message forums.

Post it for sale here on GB and put on the listing that you'll entertain trade offers.

As bambihunter just said: "Post it for sale here on GB and put on the listing that you'll entertain trade offers." I've seen that done and I guess it must be tolerated by the BG Admin.

Do you really think it is wise to buy a handgun from someone you happen to meet at the range? What kind of grief can that lead to if you do not know the history of the handgun? Just wondering.
