Went to the Suncoast Gun Show this morning and met THE '218 Bee' buzzing around the Century tables. I don't care what you guys say-he seems like a decent person.

I think he should rendezvous here in Iowa with Rembrandt and myself and go for the "2.18 Breakfast Special" at the local HyVee grocery store.

So, does he really speak in a gentlemanly Southern voice, sounding surprisingly like Val Kilmer in his role as Doc Holliday? Inquiring minds want to know.

HeDog,....Bee's Knee's?....isn't that a term used by flappers from the roaring twenties?........or is that from an old "Andy Hardy" (Mickey Rooney) movie? [This message has been edited by Rembrandt (edited 03-04-2002).]

Rembrandt -Might want to go easy on that "dating yourself" thing. I was always told that if you "dated yourself" too much, you would go blind! Geez, I crack myself up!

Bill,I am a great gun salesman..but when I get a chance to meet one of you nice folks from GB,the last thing on my mind is selling you a gun. Next time,I`ll have you come around to the other side of tables and talk longer.Jody is a great guy, offered to have me come over next weekend, and plunder through his junk parts(treasures) ..218[This message has been edited by 218Beekeep (edited 03-06-2002).]

BeeKeep, don't want to push the "friendship" thing too far....but do you give a gunbroker Smoking Jacket discount?....I was thinking about a nice Purdy shotgun with a 50% price break.....no, that wouldn't fair. If you did it for me, then everyone would want the big discount....next thing you know Lord BeeKeeper would be living out of the back of a Pickup truck camper....How about any sale over $1000 gets you a complimentary Smoking Jacket?

Rembrandt, for a Smoking Jacket Brother,I will go as low on price as I can imagine..and then a little lower!I must come up with a complemenary gift for GB friends, though. .218

Charlton Heston gives out a silver bullet with his autograph for anyone that joins the NRA......BeeKeep, you could give out an autographed .218 Bee cartidge, but to better Heston, you'll need to have it Gold plated. "Bee"fore long an entire product line of .218 Bee jewelry could evolve....rings, bracelets, ear rings, belly button ornaments, then your own .218 web page.....opportunity is knocking at the door for those willing to open it.....
