WE live in the best country on the face of the earth, but we are not lacking with people that register well below stupid. Now before anyone goes nuts and trys to croud themselves into that catagory, let me demonstrate my point. I had a son stationed at lakenheath when the air force made its run on libya. he had just arrived there in march and was not deemed mission ready in april so he didn't go. He flew the f-111and carried a firarm in a shoulder holster as part of his personal equipment. Will anyone argue the point that it makes more sense for a gamewarden to carry a sidearm than a pilot. The game warden has the responsibility of protecting him self against armed poachers who incidently don't hijack airplanes filled with thousands of gallons jet fuel and turn them into winged bombs.I will admit that on occasion when I was young I took game for the table when it presented itself. according to Gods law I did nothing wrong. I did not waste lest it not be there the next time I was hungry.I will not belabor that fact for as anyone my aprox. age will agree that was a saner time. Just try to place importance,a gamewarden protecting himself as he has every right to do or a pilot with the responsibility of himself, his crew, and all the passengers on board, now who using pure reasoning have more right to carry?
