Wife Passed Away

I know I'm a real junior member but I visit you guys as often as I can and I wanted to let you know my wife of 31 years passed away 3 July 02. She just came home from the hospital on 1 July after having a heart attack Thursday of last week. The doctors took care of a blockage and we thought she was alright. I do know she died in her sleep because I just checked on her and asked if everything was alright and she said it'll be fine as soon as you let me get back to sleep. Can't talk anymore right now. Thanks for listening.

    I am so sorry. I hope that you will find a way through this and somehow be able to find joy in your life once again. I gave my wife a hug when I read your post, I cant imagine your grief, the loss of a spouse has to be something that you have lived through to understand.     Cameroon....Your Mythical status of, as you put it, "real junior member," has absolutely no merit or consequence. As a fellow human being faced with life as it is handed to us, beyond all of our control, we all walk the same road. We may have different twists and turns in life's pathway which makes us individuals, but share a common bond of being in life together. When one person is lost, we all lose a little ourselves. Only those close like you know the extent of that pain. Me and my family are sorry for your pain and hope your faith in all that exists aids and sustains you in this time of need.     My heart and my prayers go out to you and family. My wife of 56 years has had a stroke due to our son's robbery and murder. I am so afraid I am going to lose her, too. Remember, we here on earth are just preparing for a better life in the hereafter. We miss our loved ones so indescribably much but we know we will be with them again someday.

    I can offer no sympathy or condolence that would in any way relieve your loss. I can only share this with you...

    Perhaps neither of you were aware at the time, but her last words to you were so true. Allow her to sleep in peace. Her rest is now eternal and her path getting there was so much easier than most. What a blessing!

    It's my sincere hope that you and she shared a common faith that this life is not the end. Keep that faith. Remember her. Talk to her. She'll never be that far away. And remember... Your remaining time here gets shorter every day.

    My most profound condolances to you on the loss of your life's partner.

    The first Mrs NJRETCOP passed away from cancer after nearly 30 years of the greatest marriage one can imagine. I miss her as much today as when she died. I will never forget her memory and honor it everyday.

    I feel your pain! Sadly there are no words....... You must come to grips with it on your own. Remember, God is good and she is in a better place. Know however, that you are not alone, nor am I. There are plenty of other spouses out there who are suffering as we are, each in their own way.
