London-AP -- What's art without a little controversy?"Body Worlds" -- an exhibit featuring skinless and dissected bodies -- opened yesterday in London. There was only one protest -- a man who called the display "horrifying" and "disrespectful" threw a blanket over the corpse of a pregnant woman. He said he couldn't bear to look at a seven-month-old fetus in the mother's womb. The exhibition features 175 healthy and diseased body parts and 25 whole bodies. Some eight (m) million people have already seen the show in Japan and around Europe. But it's attracted some criticism, including from the Roman Catholic Church.

By those standards, Mengele was an "artist" - sick doesn't begin to describe these people.

I love how the BBC automatically sides with the exhibit. And I refuse on principle to call it an art exhibit. It was probably started by the same people who put on the exhibit in NYC.The one where a painting of a black Mary spotted with elephant dung, and a wine bottle filled with urine with a crucifix stuck in the top were considered priceless art?Broadway's the same way now. It's just revolting political statement after glorified skin-show after god knows what.I remember when the * Monologues came to The Egg in Albany. That's supposed to be art too, remember.

BULL@#$%- Those two works of art you mentioned were displayed at different exhibits. The Dunged mary was in NYC a couple years ago. While the "piss christ" was displayed many years ago.Let the artists create whatever art they please-just dont look for the tax payers to pay for it.
