Hey Beekeep- Did you see my post in the "ask the expers" about a Savage 170? Being that you are a Savage conniseaur, maybe you can tell me if it is worth getting one. It is a pump rifle, 30 or 35 caliber, and was made in the 70s.

Salzo:I saw your post, but didn`t answer because I dont know much about the M-170,have been tempted to buy them in the past, and will buy one in the future.I would say they are a fine brush gun..probably real handy to carry, and very fast for a second shot.Saw someone posted something negative, but I`d say they are probably good,if kept well cleaned.I`d like to have one in .35 Rem.Had a chance to get one in 30-30 a while back, for $150.By the way,I bought myself anotherM-340 in .223 today. .218

Thanks Beekeep- I have been thinking about getting a .35, and was considering a lever action. The someone told me that Savage made a pump in .35,and since I prefer pumps, it tweeked my interest. Now all I have to do is find one.
