The "Honorable" Senator Robert Torricelli of NJ is off the hook with the law.Mary Jo White, the US Attorney for New York City announced today that her investigation, which included the FBI, Internal Revenue Service and Customs Service has ended with no criminal charges to be filed.Now ain't that a surprise!!! What a joke -Charlie

    Charlie, it really is a joke. I watched Lieberman on Fox this morning acting tough and calling for Senate hearings on Enron. Over the years I've watched Senate hearings on Iran-Contra, Ruby Ridge, Waco, Whitewater, Travelgate, and the worst of them all Impeachment. All the hearings end with a collective hug, handshakes, back slappings, smiles and laughter, and not a damn thing gets settled. And any hearing on Enron will end the same way. The old saying in the military was "rank has it's priveleges" and so do politicians.

    What happend? I thought that Torricelli getting busted was a slam dunk.
