Well for any congressman/woman. If they do something they don't go up against a judge and jury like we would but they have there own little ethic jury thing. Why are they so protected from the true law!!! (retoricle)

Traficant gets expelled from Congress and eight years in prison.

Torricelli gets a letter of reprimand and a slap on the back for a job well done from Senate leader Daschle.

Without question, Torricelli actions were much worse than Traficant's.
    What's wrong with this picture?

Could it be that the Democraps are too worried about losing control of the Senate to do what they are sworn to do under the law? What a joke.
I would like to see nothing more than our "esteemed" senator removed from office, either by being sent to prison or voted out. Problem is the way Democraps get their votes today has something to do with it.
For those of you lucky enough to live in states without large cities filled with minorites, you may not know how we vote. Buses, vans and cars are used on election day to round up the dregs of society from our inner cities, transport them to the polls, and then pay them cash to buy drugs and booze.
The Republicans stay home.....using excuses such as "my vote doesn't count" or "I don't get home from work until after the polls are closed" or "I just don't vote anymore"

We've all heard them. Then they bi*ch and moan about the representation they get. Let's all say it together....."You get what you deserve!"

In Reading, PA, voters were offered free round trip rides, $5.00 and a free meal at local shelters. Many of the voters were noncitizens although they most all had valid PA drivers lincenses which allows a person to register to vote regardless of citizenship.

Charlie the way i see it is if you don't vote you have no reason to complain. The only thing we can do is get the word out and get everyone we know out there to vote.

For all of those that have lost hope and think it can't be done...just look at this last presedential election. Where there's a will there's a way.

Yup, Charlie, that's exactly what happens in Detroit. It makes me sick. So many of us in Michigan are sportsmen, Republicans and/or Libertarians but when you've got millions of minorities voting for whoever gives them the biggest hand-out...well, you just can't win.

    I STILL VOTE. EVERY TIME.

Pikeal1 it could be argued that this last presidential election proves there is no hope.

We don't have any of those problems here in Illinois. Good ole Mayor Daley keeps the lid on such things in Chicago...

Charlie-there is a difference between Traficant and Toriceeli-Traficant was convicted in a court. However, I find it a bit amusing that the person who bribed Toricelli was convicted of Bribing Toricelli, yet the Senate doesnt think a case could be made that Toricelli was bribed.
I also heard today that the Senate investigation records will be sealed.
I wonder if the people of New Jersey are going to vote this crook out of office.
