I jist won a 22 hornet so ya'll hit me with a good load. Does this thing use those flat nose or pointed bullets? BTW I need some dies too.

    I should kick your butt!!! I just sold my Hornet dies, brass, everything, I'd have given them to you!Dont use long heavy bullets like 52 gr. cast bullets, they wont stabalize, twist is too slow, I found out. I'll type this from my reloading journal: Lil'Gun powder-11.0 gr., 45gr. Barnes XBT, WSR primer, Case length 1.393", COL 1.780", Winch. case, light crimp, Avg. velocity 2,383 fps,(moly coated),163fps extreme spread(yeah I know, weird), This is a good load in my Ruger, 14 bullets fired-3 of them were pulled, the remaining 11 shots measured .650" at 50yds. off of my gun case for a rest, not a solid rest. Thats what my journal says, must be true, I dont tell lies to me, at least not in my reloading journal.
