What do you need? Long or short?

I need a good 700 short. Nothing but the action with bolt and trigger assy. I want to build a 7mm-08 for my wife but I do not want to lay out $500+ for a gun to tear apart.

What do you need for a Sako?

L-61R bolt with a .479 bolt face, or better yet, one that holds a .473. I forget the exact size, .481 maybe?

Why not buy my 223 and refinish it in teflon? It's a heavy barrel.

It needs corrsion control real bad from the neglect of the previous owner. Bore is great and I did the best I could on the exterior. I probably can't get it down to a reasonable price for you but e-mail me and I will try.

Oh, yeah, tell that feller I'll trade him a Bofors steel barrel and my old bolt for the one I need. It's a 308 Norma Mag barrel that used to be a 30-06. The bolt I have now is faced for the Norma round. Oh yeah, I can throw in the stock too, if he don't mind the 4 elk teeth in it.

I have a Sako, it keeps pretty good time. I also have a Rolecks for sale.

If my Sako holds groups like my Seiko keeps time, I'll be in the mix.
