Today on a segment of the "Glen Beck Show" on FOX (Fox Cable News) was the following: "Today, even though President Obama is against off shore drilling for our country, he signed an executive order to loan 2 Billion of our taxpayers dollars to a Brazilian Oil Exploration Company (which is the 8th largest company in the entire world) to drill for oil off the coast of Brazil ! The oil that comes from this operation is for the sole purpose and use of China and NOT THE USA ! Now here's the real clincher...the Chinese government is under contract to purchase all the oil that this oil field will produce, which is hundreds of millions of barrels of oil". We have absolutely no gain from this transaction whatsoever!

Wait, it gets more interesting. Guess who is the largest individual stockholder of this Brazilian Oil Company and who would benefit most from this? It is American BILLIONAIRE, George Soros, who was one of President Obama's most generous financial supporter during his campaign. If you are able to connect the dots and follow the money, you are probably as upset as I am. Not a word of this transaction was broadcast on any of the other news networks!

Below is the Wall street Journal article to confirm this. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970203863204574346610120524166.html

Walkers father says 'John loves America, John didn't do anything against America'. Next thing you know, they'll be saying he was over there working in a 7-11 in some kind of employee exchange program.
Beat to fit----Paint to matchedited to say father, not lawyer as originally posted.[This message has been edited by pops401 (edited 01-25-2002).]

Well in the last year I have aquired a berrata 391, marlin 60, ithica 37, weatherby 20g o/u, traditions 50 cal, and remington 760. I love shooting trap, hunting and just plinking. I don't know what I should go for next. I was thinking an older military rifle, or mabee a lighter rifle for a brush gun. Any thoughts? What is your favorite gun?

Decision time.....do I build an AR or an FAL?[8D][;)]

If it's an AR I go with, I'm really leaning towards Model 1 Sales XM177 upper with the short triangle handguards. If an FAL, I'd probably go with a DSA SA58 upper, and build the rest of it from a nice parts kit.

    So, which is it? Opinions?

Utah whips Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, Boise State whips the Georgia Bulldogs in Atlanta, and Utah whips Georgia Tech in the Sun Bowl. [:D][:D][:D] What's next...dodging their kind, obviously. [:D][:D][:D]

Actually, I was pulling for Georgia Tech, and they had the Utes on the ropes more than once, but failed to put them away. Good game though.

Allright... I may get some nasty replies to this... But I gotta get it out. First off, I love this country. I will fight to defend it and my fellow Americans. That said, I must say I find this Walker's case very interesting... What would posess a young man with a seemingly good upbringing to fight for the enemy? Unless this was a young man of extremely weak character, what could convince him to switch sides?Nobody but Walker can answer that. About 5 years ago I did a lot of research on the subject of US Foreign policy concerning that region, and I have attended several Arab/Israeli debates in Washington on the subject. In my travels I have learned quite a bit that does not make it's way to CNN. I don't mean to preach that our country if full of conspiracies, but I do beleive that many of our leaders have hands which are more than just a little dirty. Other countries don't hate us "because of our freedom" I think they hate us because of the backhanded routes many of our politicians have used to influence foreign policy in favor of their... Sponsors. Just my opinion...

Niklasal:Thank you for giving your opinion. And thank you for being so polite.I think there's a much bigger "recruitment" influence in many (especially large urban) US mosques than anyone wants to talk about.Unless Walker went totally insane and decided to convert with the sole purpose of going to join the Taliban, he converted and THEN had the idea put in his head.I wouldnt be shocked if al-Qaida operatives routinely prowl large urban mosques looking for perfect marks. Walker musta stood out like a neon sign. But any investigation of these mosques is desecrating holy ground and violating peoples "rights".Sort of like how Islamic-fundamentalist wackos from Arafat to Khadafi and Hussein have been using the "hold staff meetings inside a mosque and no bomb will touch you" approach for years. They're smart to us. They know how to beat us. Why dont we reciprocate?

To qauntify myself as being able to speak authoratvly on a few of my thoughts I am a parent of a grown daughter that has given me two fantastic grandchildren...I DO NOT FEEL SORRY FOR JOHN "WUSSY" LINDH..NOR HIS PEAR HEADED FATHER. I can say this because UNTIL YOU ARE A PARENT YOU CANNOT SPEAK WITH AUTHORITY ON ANY SUBJECT DEALING WITH THE EMOTIONS OF PARENTING, YOU CANT GET THERE FROM HERE, PERIOD!!!So don't even make a feeble attempt. His father and little wussy John are to a big degree the product of their enviroment, they come from the liberal land of fruit and nuts Commiefornia. The Republic of Commiefornia has given us seveal noteable people, to name a couple ..D,Feinstein..C. Manson..and these two are represinitive of some of their finest! Who else is lurking about in Commiefornia? This is not to say everyone THERE IS SO FAR LEFT THEIR ALMOST FAR RIGHWING. I have and have several friends who live there, so no, I dont belive the westcoast folks are all Gump dumb...just a vast group of them. I know people in quite a few European countries & probably 20 states.Of the people I know or have known, the ones in Commiefornia,...snivel and whine more about THEIR state than anyone I know!SO MOVE!! The father of John the wuss spoke on TV saying that his son (not exact qoutes)had never taken up arms against US Forces, never commited terrorist acts blah-blah.He is LYING! Just how can he be so sure?Just the other day he stated that he had not known his sons whereabouts for quite sometimeI guess MS.CLEO helped him with that info and insight into little John boys activities.Yes the little wuss in his cute pillbox hat IS his son..hey fruit don't fall far from the tree. Do I blame the general attitude of the 'COMMIEFORNIA STATE OF MIND? YES!! WHY?Do a little research of your own on the net and check out some of the class "programs" they offer, their general curriculum. It reeks of MAJOR LIBERLISM,and just plain strange. Do I blame his parents for where he has ended up? YES I DO!!WHY? When he was 16, LIVING AT HOME, his parents thought it was just finer than froghair that he could A.Convert to IslamB.Wear the wussy little pill box hat (probably knitted it himself)C.Wear traditional Islamic garb D. Legallychange his name to BLAH-BLAH SUOLLYMAN! Someone help me with this. AT SIXTEEN! What would YOU do if your son came in and threw THAT package on you? His dad is an attorney(well, that answers some of that) did the pearheaded twit not think of the ramifications on his sons life? Doesn't appear that he did. "Oh, we'll just let little John expand his horizons","John, your little knit pill box hat you knitted is SO cute"! "we know how liberal our community is,you fit right in" His parents were so caught up in the Commifornia style that little Johns behavior was "normal"! They contributed a great deal to the situation he is in...bad shame on them. Now they want to make excuses for him, give me a break. Think they feel a little guilty about letting him change his name, wear girlie-girl clothes...with matching pill box hat? Hope they do, they played a big roll in putting their son in this position
"ANY" EXCUSE IS A GOOD REASON TO BUY "JUST 1 MORE".& VICIE-VERSIE!

Manson was born in Ohio, I believe. Spent most of his juvenile years from age 9 in one boy's school or another and attempting to find his prostitute mother who kept trying to ditch him.Went to California after his majority to try his hand at becoming a rock star, I believe. He's got another parole hearing coming up soon - at the rate California is going, he just might make it. Too bad he didnt commit his crimes here in Texas - parole would be a moot point.

Manson did move to KA. He lived in Amboy and if I had to take a stab at it, I would reckon that's where they tested LSD on folks. It is one weird place, kinda like most of the rest of KA, only worse!
