    I like D.

I don't know where you live, but I can find out real easy. Is that scary?

You can also find out where I live. Heck, I'll tell you if you ask. I don't find it scary at all.

Am I "armed to the teeth?" No, but there is always a gun handy. Am I scared? No, just prepared.

If all the fellow did was make the statement you described, he did not make a threat, not that I can see. Why all the hubbub?

I didn't say I would shoot at someone who was not a threat to me or mine; I just said I am prepared, so don't go all moist on me.

I am not moist I am fed up with a town that cannot take care of it's self where the bad guy wins to many times. You are (Leo) and I respect that but I will not stay A victim in A town that the (leo )looks the other way.

Have you had the chance to go speak with those officers supervisors who are looking the other way? If they are not doing their job, they have bosses. Even if you have to go to the mayor or some of the city council, or local media. Do you think any of those folks might help you?

    difference there is

    A) you werent pumping gas (or your daughter)
    B) He didnt steal anything, only attempted, so why SHOOT him? scare the heck out of him, sure, shoot him? no.
    C) go get castrated.

Reading your post I'm wondering why after seeing the crook and re-entering your house you did not
Call your neighbor and give him a heads up (two guns are better than one)
Or grab a flashlight, after all it is nice to see your target.

Having read these several threads, I would say that you may have over reacted in letting one go. I say may have, because I wasn't there, so I was not in your shoes, can't judge. I also don't know how long you have been having problems, so I cannot know your frustration levels. Since I wasn't there, I am more than happy, to accept your story as you and your neighbor told it. What I can't figure out is the barrage of attacks you have recieved. Why are there so many screaming b*ttholes on this web site?? Why does there seem to be so much rage? Why are all these people in attack mode all the time? Are their lives so shallow and meaningless that the only pleasure they are able to recieve is attacking someone on-line? Even comments like I hope you go to jail! These people have serious problems!! I am amazed that so many think you lied. People tend to transfer their values on to others. I believed what you wrote in the original post. But I am an honest man, I don't lie. All of these others who had no reason to disbelieve you thought you were lying. Makes me think that transference is at work, they believe you lie since they lie. All I know is if I had a choice between you as my neighbor (in my neighborhood, not yours), and these people attacking you, I would roll out the red carpet for you. My personal advice to you, MOVE!!

Try option f. Sit your daughter down and explain to her how life is. Teach her what to do in different situations. Keep her calm and let her know that she is safe now. Calming her down is the first thing you should do. Grabbing a gun is about the worst thing you could have done. That probably scared her more.

Since when is your address private information? Are you in the phone book? Do you leave that box empty every time you fill out any form? Have your mail shipped to a PO box so the mailman doesn't know where you live?
