The best Wichita Gun Show, put on by the Chisholm Trail Antique Gun Association, is March 2&3 at the Kansas Coliseum. Hours are Saturday 9-5 Sunday 9-4. What are YOU doing this weekend?

    Planning on it, should have some inventory by then. Our table should be straight South once you come inside the building. Look for a triangular sign with 3' square sides showing the Butt of a rifle. "with bells on" Wittum you should be easy to spot then....

    5db, oh yeaH. I dont remember where we go in at but im sure it will be easy to find. There will probably either be me and my father or me and one or two crazy coots i goto college with. Im building up some nice inventory and trading stock. ***ok, i remember now. The north side I think, hey no matter what or how hungry i get.     Yep, with those big'ol gaudy Rooster Pheasants in every row, coveys of Quail on the borders with herds of the nations finest Whitetail Deer just inside the tree line. yep seen one Wheatfield seen them all. But, none of that matters much to me, I stay here for the Sunrise and Sunsets.

    5db you said it all amen brother its been 9 years now sense the last time I had the pleasure of seeing one maybe some day before I die I will get to sit foot again on my homeland some days I look back and wonder what the heli I was thinking to ever moved away in the first place take care and enjoy

    Pelican, What about Tulsa, believe it's in April. Great show, biggest one you'll ever see 3500 tables in one building. Tell you what, I'd buy your dinner.....

    5db The Tulsa Gun Show is the Weekend of April 6-7. It is unbelievable, a whole expo center full of guns etc. to give you an idea of how big it is I just came back from the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals last weekend and they use about 1/3 of the Expo Center to race those cars. Just Imagine our gun show times about 6 and you have it pictured. Once you go and fill out the registration they send you a post card to remind you of the event (1 In April and 1 in October)...I will come by your table in March and Introduce myself...Auto

    5db which one do I want to see again, hard question, its hard to beat being in a tree stand along a Kansas river botton and seeing Mr. Big coming down the trail, or steping into a draw and having old Mr. Rooster Pheasant come up in front of you, watching a sunrise or watching the west turn to fire as the sun goes down on a hot Ks day is hard to beat. I moved to Wi back in 1984, the home state for my dad, long story on the why I did that but any ways I met and married a fine young lady here and now have 2 kids, my folks are gone but hers live just down the road from us so the kids get to do a lot with them, and until they are grown Wi will be my home, after that well who knows the west still calls my name! As to time well we all hope we have lots of it, but I guess after last Sep. one just never knows do we?take care

    Otoman, yes indeed! Off the top of my head, I beleive our Tulsa table is 16-D-2. I'll Look for you in March. gskyhawk, well sounds like you made the move for a worthy cause. Anytime your back this way let me know and we'll try to get out. They have a Hunting season in WI? Take care.

    5db Yes we have several hunting seasons, but no quail, no dove, pheasants only if you like pen rasied ones that are released in the fall, lots of turkey, and them deer if you want to shoot any thing that moves and is brown then come to Wi thats what out DNR wants, they even give out a free bonus tag for antlerless deer with every license you buy (ie buy a gun tag get a free doe tag or the same with archery buy one get one free ) and you can also buy more antlerless permits if you want!!! deer hunting up here is really starting to suck, no deer and lots of hunterstake care
