Free medical care for illegals

Anybody watch O'Reilly tonight? It seems our friend McCain, along with a Democrat from New Mexico, have introduced a bill making free, government-paid healthcare for illegals a Federal Law.

Their reasoning???

Since the govt. failed to stop them from sneaking into this country we are now obligated to provide for them.

Another guest on the program was a lawyer representing some illegals who are in jail and have been receiving free kidney dialysis. The State of Arizona wants to stop the medical treatment and send them back where they came from. This ambulance-chaser has filed legal action to stop them from being deported. Why???? He claims since Mexico has poor medical care, and none for poor people, that these illegals will die if they're sent back home. Therefore it's our responsibility to keep them in the USA and keep giving them expensive medical care to keep them alive.

Ever hear anything so balled-up in your life?

    How many American citizens are suffering and dying because illegal (criminals) aliens are getting the free kidney dialysis? There is a waiting list for that type of treatment and who do you think is paying for it?

    Instead of giving free medical to the illegals.. give it to the citizens..
    In todays society, women, men, children are dying of cancer, heart disease, and so many other things.. WHY?????????? Cause some cant afford the medical insurance... so they never get to the dr... some dont even go the the emerg in the case of a heart attack..and it usually ends in death.. why?...

    I know Canadas system is not perfect.. far from it.. but medical care is given to all FREE..okay so its not free for the working class.. premiums are taken off your check.. but no one is refused treatment.. its against the law. Yes treatment is given to illegals there as well.. but EVERY CITIZEN OF CANADA IS TAKEN CARE OF FIRST..that is what should be going on here.. take care of your own first..

    So instead of giving free medical to illegals.. give it to the ones that deserve it.. the citizens..

    The only medical services I believe illegal aliens should get is a gasoline enema. Then we could line them up on the border, point them toward their respective county's and stike a match.
    Then we could add a few lirics to the National Anthem,

    I live in So. Cal and have experienced the following:

    1. Illigal Mexican families running across the southbound 5 freeway in the San Diego area in the middle of the night. Surreal, sad and disgusting.

    2. As a former educator in an inner-city school, being told by my smug Spanish-speaking colleagues that "you'd better learn Spanish or you'll out of a job." These people were also paid an extra $5000 a year to instruct their students in Spanish. When I finally said to them "how about paying me $5000 for teaching my students English?" I was called a racist.

    3. Entire regions of the LA basin where a kid could grow up and live an entire life and never have to utter a word or English.

    4. Entire regions of the LA basin in which any non-latino would never, could ever consider buying a house or renting an apartment.

    5. Billboards and freeway signs that are wrapped with barbed wire to keep people from vandalizing and spray painting them.

    Yeah, I'm frustrated and pissed off too.

    Sure, I watch O'Reilly every night. Is it too late to stop the mexican invasion? Is it possible to at least slow it down? How many years before the U.S. is a spanish speaking only country? Isn't there an old saying, as california does,,so does the rest of the U.S.A.??

    We should stop messin around with them and start doing what is necessary to put a stop to this illegal invasion of Mexicans. If you think it is only a border problem then you are blind, stupid or both. I live in West Virginia and they are starting to show up here. We need to make demilitarised zones at both borders and defend them vigorously. I applaud the Israelis for taking the initiative and building their fence to keep out the palastinian terrorists and I think the mexi's that are invading our country pose just as much of a national security issue to America.

    I ain't blind and I ain't stupid, but here in CA, the problem is most certainly the border. We like to ask ourselves, "there's a border?" It's a figment of someone's imagination and a meaningless line on some map. It's porous and nobody respects it, least of all our government that is admittedly not doing enough to police it. It's like they've thrown in the towel.

    As an American, this indifference devalues my own citizenship. I wish the powers-that-be would be brave and take a stand on something. Do I feel more protected and safer in the wake of 9/11 knowing full well that nothing is being done to keep out illegal immigrants that want to harm me? No. Do I feel more protected knowing that nothing is being done about illegals who are already here? No. Would I fault my own government if another attack happens on my own soil? Yes. Am I pissed that they've, in essence, said to the American people that nothing can be done to stop it? You bet. I've got some ideas on how we can stop it. So have you. Yes they are not PC, yes they will offend large segments of our population. Are American lives worth it? You bet.

    I wonder why our Reserve and so-called National Guard forces have not spent their "two weeks a year" on the border instead of the woods of AL,FL,or where ever? Wouldn't that serve a better purpose in defence of our country? Inquiring minds want to know...mine too!!

    Touchy subject with me.

    Here I am mid 20's white male, who gets a shoe in the * any time I ask for govt. assistance, be it educational aid in ANY form or medical/dental aid. I was working untill the tech sector kamikazi'd then I was lucky enough to find a job with a company that did all the mailings for 70% of the US based airlines and 90% of the PBS (non-profit) stations. Well I got laid off October 1st, 2001. I have been laid off untill this month where I finally got a job bartending (and no, I get no benefits). As far as I am concerned these illegals are breaking the law and are taking a risk by doing so. I live Arizona and it doesn't take a lot of intellect to realize, "I might die in the desert". I may be cold and collous, but screw'em. Fine we put water out there with transmitters so INS knows to go looking for illegals near the watering hole, but definatly NO health care.

    I will get off my soap box now.

    Why is every (or almost every to be accurate) foreign national here in the US by legal or illegal means with a US state drivers license, especially a Pennsylvania drivers license, a registered voter?

His thinking is that our Government has failed to keep them out so now we owe them. The only thing we owe them is a good lashing with a whip and sent home. I think we should send a big hefty doctor bill to the Mexi President and force him to pay for any and all expenses "his" citizens incur during their "illegal" stay in our country. If he refused Id put so many sanctions against him hed be forced back into the stone age. NAFTA was supposed to put an end to the illegal invasion of our country, remember? The only thing it accomplished was to put alot of Americans out of work and send a bunch of our jobs out of our country. Our government is doing nothing to protect us, nothing. The people are being forced to police there own border. The situation is out of control, the media, except for Fox, refuse to report the truth. NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, ect, are worthless propaganda machines that report on the fluff that will go in hand with their corporate political agenda. OReilly is the closest thing our country has to an honest reporter of the facts. The Fox News people are the only ones that have balls enouph to report the truth. We spend billions and billions of dollars annually to pay for the illegals in this country. We send thousands of United States citizens to foreign country's to guard their borders and we do nothing to protect our own. Who now poses a bigger threat to our national security, East Germany or Mexico? We are at war gentlemen, and our government refuses to address the situation. If our government cannot defend our citizens, then what purpose does it serve except to rule us, tax us and enslave us by laws that deteriorate the unalienable rights of its citizens.

    There is no more East Germany and not every non-citizen with a driver's license is registeted to vote, my mother isn't.

    Now, I do believe there's a serious problem when a freakin illegal alien can come into our country and receive more benefits that I can!!

    I paid for my own college tuition, because I wasn't a minority. I pay for health insurance every month, because I can't get it for free. I pay a truckload of taxes every year too.

    The fact that these people can just run through the desert at night and come here to be parasites is pure B.S. And, the fact that McCain supports this makes him a traitor. He supports a foreign national before his own people? Maybe his time in the Hanoi Hilton warped his common sense. I thank him for his service to our country, but I think he needs to get out of politics.

    Who voted for him anyway? Doesn't he represent Arizona? What the hell happened there?

    And on top of all this, my state legislature is successfully taking away my right to defend myself! I tell you this, my wife, daughter and our safety is the my most important responsibility. If the state chooses to make criminals of the millions of law-abiding citizens of CA who lawfully and legally purchased weapons that the state now says are illegal if they aren't registered or surrendered, screw 'em. They won't be getting me (or mine) without a fight! My guns are the only reason I sleep well at night. Since my elected officials ain't doing it, I have taken over this responsibility as I should. Now they are trying to take away my ability to do that!

    I live in the "real" world. This ain't West Virginia. We know full well that our city is crawling with gangbangers who are just waiting to turn me into a statistic. The last time I was at the range two months ago, several of these f'ing wetback gangsters showed up with their Tec-9's and 45's. They smugly and with impunity disregarded the rules of the range, making it unsafe for everyone. The range officers, who yell at us for every "toe-over-the-line" misstep, did nothing. They were most obviously intimidated and these jerks knew it. I remember one kid who said, after finally hitting a sillouette at 15 yards (one out of about 50 shots), "next veectum." A-hole, I wanted to turn him into a victim. Yes, these guys are used to intimidating their communities just as they intimidated the range officiers. They better not show up at my house at night!

    Duster: ( I live in the "real" world. This aint West Virginia.) Excuse me, but if you call living in California the "real" world, I thank God he saw fit to keep me un"real"... California is a sess pool and I wouldn't live there for any reason. No job could pay enouph to keep me in such a place. So if that was meant as an insult, Im sorry but Ill take it as a copliment.

    Shotguns shooting buck shot leave no rifling, just make sure you dont have matching shells laying around. I would imagine a bunch of rottweilers or bull mastiffs would do a fair job as well. I can see it now, INS finds one floating in th Rio Grande thats been chewed to bits, when they ask wander what happened to him? Shark Attack! Also they make accelerator rounds for high powered rifles that leave no rifling on the bullet. Nice thing about semi auto pistols is you can get replacement barrels pretty cheap.

    I know I keep birdwalking but this topic brings up lots of ancillary issues that I feel are closely connected to the original post. It's also nice to know that others feel as strongly as I do about this.

    After the L.A. riots, a group of L.A. Korean merchants got in trouble because they said publicly that they were going to get their hunting rifles and start policing the CA / Mexican border. These were some of the same people who had their businesses looted and torched. These were also some of the same people who, during the height of the violence, took up arms and began defending their lives and property against the rioters. You might have remembered seeing TV footage of some of them walking the rooftops of their store fronts armed with hunting rifles and shotguns. In many cases, it was their initiative and bravery that kept their stores from being destroyed.

    Hey GodandCountry: No, I don't "get it." I started a thread on June 18th concerning a report I saw on O'Reilly about how Sen. McCain wants free medical for illegals. Two days and 19 posts later you ask if anyone "caught" O'Reilly and if anyone is aware that McCain wants free medical care for illegals. What the hell did you think we were all talking about?
