Geocities won't let you post your pics via another website. I don't believe Yahoo will, either. If you want, send 'em to me and I'll post them. I also believe Supermonkey has a place where you can upload pics to his webserver, but I could be wrong.

Darkstar, he don't need to send it to ya for ya to post it, you just need to know how to get it! Like this, this is Lee's picture,

Now, I'll bite. here is a shot of me after a long evenings work on the farm, my buddy has a habit of shining the spotlight directly on me so I cant see that well. He got me with the camera coming out of the woods back to the truck and this is the only pic of me I will place for all to see, never know when a game warden might look at this! I know it's a bad pic and please no comments about me looking lke a character from a certain movie with Burt Reynolds in it, the guy that took the pic keeps saying that about me!

Well, that's true. I just didn't have the time to look at the source code of his message to figure out where the photo was, go there, download it, post it to my webserver, and then post it here.

Not that much involved in it, just moved it, took 30 secs. I run an FTP so that helps.

So what part of my scenario did you skip and what did FTP buy you?? I use FTP, too. Just curious..... I think most of those 30 seconds would have been spent on the "right-click, view source, find geocities img reference"....

I just right clicked, properties, C&P the address in my FTP and it went right to my sight, I never downloaded and never saw it till I posted it.

For reason I do not wish to discuss all I will say is the FTP is a professional version. If you wish we can discuss thru email or since we live so close maybe we can meet for coffee in Altoona sometime and I'll let you in a few good secrets.

Hey 7mm, I'll buy that. Hell, I never even thought to right-click on the message and look at source to begin with. That went beyond my level of commitment.

About the FTP: I have lots of "professional" versions of FTP client and server software. I run a ton of FTP, web, mail, and media servers for a living. Their isn't a lot that you will show me that will knock my socks off....but I'm still interested. My e-mail address is a few messages up.

I'd be pleased to meet you for coffee in Altoona, but I live in Dallas, TX and that is a touch out of my way. I grew up in Western PA and my father lives in Somerset County. If you are ever passing through this neck of the woods, give a shout.

Darkstar, there is a key word in one of your messages that should tell you. Not too many FTP'n secrets but my hard drives are quite spectacular if you know what I mean

I remember last week you was asking about a 'smith up here and I thought you still lived up here. I get to Dallas every now and again, I have some family in Grand Prarie I stop in and see when I'm down there. I usualy stop at the Flying J near GRand Prarie so next time I get down there maybe if thats not too far for you we can get together.

Leeblackman: From your picture it looks like you have Dupytrens disease, which is a growth of tendons in the hand that makes the little and ring fingers curl up so that they can't be straightened out. I have it in both hands. Let me know if this is so, and we can share experiences.

Richie, I live in Huntingdon, just east of Altoona. I worked for a couple outfits up there, I worked for CCG as a mechanic for the line crews, did two job sites for them, Indy and Detroit, ech site had 40-45 trucks and I traveled between Indy and Detroit each week keeping their trucks running. I also drove for Smith Transport out of Roaring Springs for a spell. We spend alot of time in Altoona shopping since they have far better stores than we have. Have you ever been to allegheny trade in Hollidaysburg? The only place we have for miles that deals in "assault weapons", they also deal in classIII weapons.

Concealed, check the addy for the pic, the ady is no good. I can almost always get the pics when people cant get them to work but the one you tried has a bad address. Check that and try again.

No pics to post and it would be beyond my meager computer talents to do so if I did have a photo. However, in the spirit of disclosure represented by this thread, I offer the following:

If Tom Cruise were a foot taller, 100 pounds heavier, 15 years older, completely bald but with a mustache, we would be dead ringers for one another.
