ok,i have never been much of a Taurus fan but i just recieved a Raging Bull 454 Casull.I think its a well made gun on par with the new Smiths, ect.I know when Taurus first started they had problems but i think there producing much better guns now,im talking wheel guns,im not much interested in there auto pistols.I know ill get many differences in opinions, but whats the good ,the bad and the ugly?

I bought a stainless model 608 NIB, traded it for a NIB ruger 77/44 and didn't look back. Not sure of the other models my my 608 was a POS. On a positive note it did have a nice trigger to bad the rest of the gun wasn't as nice. Wouldn't buy a Taurus again for any amount of money. Stick to a Smith or Colt, or if money is a concern the Ruger GP's are nice weapons and tank tuff. In the 454 I dont thing there is a better gun than the Freedom Arms models.

I had a PT945 stainless with ported barrel and couldnt hit water if I fell out of a boat. But it could have just been me hehe. Taurus DOES have a lifetime warranty by the way.

I had a PT140, it was junk. I have to admit, though, despite the crappy trigger and cheap "feel", it was surprisingly accurate.
