I can't,for the life of me,understand how this Brady Bimbo equates a guy going into a gunshop and buying a couple of handguns say one for target and one for self defense as gun trafficing. What stupid confused people these are,Josey
Bill S.166, which would limit handgun purchases to one per month, has been proposed in the Mass. State Senate. It has not yet been scheduled for consideration. However, the Brady group has issued a press release to its members asking them to contact their State Senators. You can do the same thing to make sure it doesn't get heard. All pertinent contact info is at the link.
Brady Campaign: Help Stop Gun Trafficking in Massachusetts11/14/2001 Submitted By:Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence1225 Eye Street, NWWashington, DC 20005Phone: (202) 898-0792 www.bradycampaign.org Help Stop Gun Trafficking in Massachusetts! We need your help! Bill S 166, which would limit handgun purchases to one per month, has been proposed in the Massachusetts State Senate. Right now, gun traffickers are able to buy 10, 20, even 100 handguns at a time, which they illegally resell in the secondary market to juvenile gang members and criminals who would not pass the state background check. We need you to take action and tell the State Senate to support S 166! The anti-gun trafficking legislation, S 166, will help dry up the supply of illegal handguns and make it more difficult for criminals to obtain guns. But, it will NOT hurt any responsible gun owners. We are calling on you to put pressure on Senate leaders to consider this life-saving bill! Unfortunately, S 166 has not even been scheduled for consideration in the State Senate. Please tell the Senate leaders that you want them to crack down on gun traffickers! Contact Senate President Tom Birmingham and Senate Ways and Means Chairman Mark Montigny and urge them to take quick action on S 166! TAKE ACTION NOW!Please contact the Massachusetts Senate Leadership today and urge them to pass S 166 and Stop Gun Trafficking.
