Range Safety Proven Again

Just got back from the local range where I was trying to get the laser to aim where my shots hit.My friend was standing next to me loading a magazine when he was hit in the arm by a ricochet piece of lead from shooters on our right.Did not penetrate but hit hard enough to draw blood and leave a dandy bruise.I am glad all of us were wearing eye protection that would haved saved his eye if the chunk of lead was a little higher. This was at an outdoor 25 yard facility.Goes to show that a little protection is vital. You never know....

What was that other shooter shooting at that caused a ricochet? Why did the range allow target material that could cause this? Bad situation all around.
So many guns to buy. So little money.

We were shooting at 8 inch knock down steel plates 25 yards away. They are about 4 foot above ground.Sorry about the delay in answering you but my I.S.P. is crap lately.Too much traffic I guess.

Those plates always made me paranoid.Safest thing I do is try to go when there aren't going to be more than 1 or 2 other guys.True bliss at the target range is when you get there and there are no other cars.
