09/26/2001Drive-by Shooting Reported Two Bryan residents are in the Brazos County Jail after a possible drive-by shooting in Bryan. Police say one of them was carrying a stolen firearm. It all stems from a possible altercation on East Martin Luther King Street Sunday night. Twenty-three-year-old Jannette Sims, already a convicted felon, is charged with possessing a .32-caliber pistol. The pistol had been stolen from the College Station Police Department back in 1991. Sims is also charged with the theft of a firearm. She is in jail on almost $30,000 bond. Eighteen-year-old Kenneth Brown is charged with failing to identify Sims as a fugitive. He is in the Brazos County Jail on $15,000 bond.
