Will Hollywood get behind the War effort?

After Pearl Harbor Hollywood got behind the war effort with motivating films. Being so politically correct...I wonder if there is any patriotism left in that town. Perhaps we can get Charlton Heston to get his robe and big stick out for a remake.

    I think they might because the Arabs hit the center of the eastern liberal establishment-a big mistake on their part. Had an equivalent amount of damage taken place in, say Atlantathere would have been a lot of resistance from the illiberal media to GWBs' militaryaction.

    They will only get involved IF there is a movie to be made that will make the more MONEY. Otherwise they will be quiet until everything blows over and then a bunch of them will become sympathisers (sp?) which of course they will make a movie about and make money that way. Why can't Kalifornication just slide off into the ocean?

    Are you kidding?Hollywood is controlled by jews, now as well as during WW2 when jews had their scrotes in a sling.They're going to milk this event to drum up every bit of anti-Arab sentiment they can muster (in the name of American patriotism of course).It's interesting to see foreign coverage of the event here in Korea. The networks are presenting INFORMATION about WHO bin Laden IS, his background, his ties with the CIA etc.I switch to the two English language programs available (AFKN showing mostly ABC news, and CNN). The primary thrust of their programs is to belabor the activity at "ground zero" and to capitalize on maudlin displays of grief from every sob sister within microphone range.American based programs appear to be intent upon protracting a blind angry emotion-based determination for vengeance.Vengeance against whom?Primarily Jewish enemies.Convenient isn't it?[This message has been edited by rgrjit8 (edited 09-17-2001).]

    rgrjit8 does have a point, the Jewish community is very strong in hollywierd and they can make or break careers. There were some scandles back in the 50's & 60's where people that did not agree with the views of certain high rollers (who were Jewish) that were "black balled". Which is illegal, but none the less it did happen and rumors are that it does still go on today, just a little bit more discreetly.If you do some research you will find that the majority of the movers and shakers in the movie business are not only Jewish but they belong to the same "society groups".It may not be right, but it does happen. Although it could be said that if it were any other group or faction that controlled hollywierd, then they would be doing the same thing to promote their groups beliefs and activities.Don't break out the flame throwers, this is just another wierd fact of how strange "holier than thou" Kalifornia is and can be.

Why should these people, who's only claim to political influence is their ability to portray what they are not, be a matter of concern to people who think for themselves?
