A question for anyone familiar with sniper tactics. This is actually kinda' rhetorical but.....The .50 cal. rifle is being demonized by the "gun-grabbers" by using the term "sniper rifle" as a pejoritive. Tell me where I'm wrong but....I always picture a sniper as someone using stealth and cunning to locate and "sanction" his target. I just can't picture Carlos Hathcock sneaking up on a target whilst dragging around this 4 foot long 30 pound piece of scoped steel.
Now...I'm sure the .50 cal. CAN be used as a sniper rifle but you'd almost have to lie in wait and hope your target came to you, right?
Well...the uneducated public fell for the "Saturday Night Special" lie and the "cop killer" bullet lie and all the other lies the "anti's" vomit. Like the saying goes: "tell the lie long enough and people will start to believe it."

    Mudge the tactically ignorant

I can't come to work today. The voices said, STAY HOME AND CLEAN THE GUNS!
