GUN RIGHTS POLICY CONFERENCE 2002 TO BE HELD IN PHOENIX, AZ!

The seventeenth annual Gun Rights Policy Conference (GRPC) will take place this year on September 27-29th at the Sheraton Crescent Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona. This year's GRPC should be the biggest and best yet!

"Arizona has become a key gun rights battleground on a wide variety of issues from concealed carry restrictions to attacks on gun shows," stated Alan Gottlieb, Founder of SAF. "With Senator John McCain spewing his anti-gun rants, all of these battles have national implications. GRPC 2002 will bring gun owners together and train people across the country to be successful in defending our precious freedom against the gun grabbers."

The speakers list for GRPC 2002 will read like the who's who of the nationally recognized gun rights leaders. Past speakers have included: Senator Bob Smith, Congressman Bob Barr, Congresswoman Helen Chenoweth, Congressman Phil Crane, Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell, nationally syndicated radio talk show hosts G. Gordon Liddy, Blanquita Cullem and Ken Hamblin, NRA Executive Vice President Wayne La Pierre, SAF Trustee Massad Ayoob and noted scholars such as; David B. Kopel, Stephen Halbrook, Don Kates, plus dozens of others. This great event is co-sponsored by the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA).

SAF President and Gun Week Executive Editor Joseph P. Tartaro has dubbed the GRPC as, "The single most important event in the gun rights movement." His sentiments are echoed by many other gun rights leaders.

"GRPC is a person's best chance to meet many of the national gun-rights leaders in one place and ask them about their opinions and strategies for the future of the gun-rights movement," stated Joe Waldron, CCRKBA Executive Director. "These same top leaders will also be at the GRPC to listen to your personal ideas and goals."

As in previous years, GRPC is free to all gun rights activists. Hotel space for the conference will be at the special reduced rate of $89 per night. Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-423-4126.
