"Intruder" to air three times on Saturday
Fox News Channel has informed us that "Intruder" will air three times on Saturday April 20, between noon and 3pm EDT. One spot will air each hour.

Because this is a news channel, the spots could be bumped or moved by breaking news. Please understand that American Liberty Foundation has no control over those decisions.

Please feel free to call your friends, or share this email with them, so that they can see how the Second Amendment saves lives and prevents crime.

Gun ads ... time to reload!
[If you'd like to go directly to our contribution page, click here.]

You've seen the Second Amendment Saves Lives TV ads - you know we've broadcast our "Yard Sign" spot on CNN.

Now an opportunity has presented itself and it's too good to pass up. So our plans are changing dramatically!

First, we were planning to re-broadcast the ads on CNN. But several supporters wrote asking why we didn't advertise on other networks - especially Fox News Channel. Well, we're switching the ad buy to Fox News.

That's right - our ads, making the case that the Second Amendment Saves Lives, are going to broadcast nationally on Fox News!

This change will . . .

Make your contribution dollar go further. The cost per audience member reached will drop slightly.

Make your contribution dollar go further. In advertising, repetition is a key to successfully driving a message home. To run three spots on CNN, we need to raise $21,750 - but we only need to raise $15,985 to do the same thing on Fox News!

Make your contribution dollar go further. We suspect that response to our ad will increase because our sense is that Fox News has more Right to Keep and Bear Arms (RKBA) advocates watching than CNN does. Therefore, it's reasonable to hope for increased web visits, with more people leaving contact information - and making contributions.
Second, we were planning to broadcast the "Yard Sign" commercial again. But Fox News has approved "Intruder" for broadcast, so we've decided to air it instead.

That's right - "Intruder" is going to make its national debut!

"Intruder" shows a woman at home alone stopping a masked intruder from harming her or her property by pointing her pistol at him. Both on the screen and in the voice-over, the ad makes the case that, "2 million acts of violence are prevented each year by armed citizens."

We think it's our most powerful, persuasive ad. When we got the news, jubilant cheers went up here at American Liberty Foundation headquarters.

This change will also . . .

Make your contribution do even more. A more dramatic ad (Intruder is certainly dramatic) should help increase response, with increased web visits and more people leaving contact information - and making contributions.
If RKBA advocates were impressed that we ran our first ad on CNN, wait till they see "Intruder" on Fox News!

Third, we're going to revise the target on the website's entry page downward. Our objective now is to raise $15,985. Our original target was $22,750. You've already contributed $5,653 - so only $10,332 mores hits our target.

You can help by joining our "Second Amendment Saves Lives Broadcast Committee." The cost is only $20. Once you join, you'll receive:

A handsome, personalized membership card

Your name posted on our website listing of Broadcast Committee members

A VHS copy of all three ads - you'll enjoy showing them to friends

And a ticket for our raffle
In fact, for our raffle, you get a ticket for every $20 you contribute. And the winner of the raffle will get the actual yard sign that appears in the "Yard Sign" ad. It's a one-of-a-kind showpiece.

And if you give at least $100, will upgrade your website listing. We'll list you as a "Patron."

Or, if you give at least $500, we'll upgrade you the "President's Club" section on our web site listing of Broadcast Committee members.

HOWEVER, THERE'S A CATCH TO ALL THIS - We have to make the ad purchase before the end of March to be assured of the quoted rate. Once March slips by, the rate is very likely to increase. If you want your contribution dollars to have the greatest impact, you'll want to respond with a contribution today.

Besides, we're conducting the raffle drawing the day the ad airs. So if you want a chance to win the yard sign, you don't want to wait to until it's too late.

Please join with us. Please help get the "Intruder" message out to the Fox News audience - that "2 million acts of violence are prevented each year by armed citizens."
