Gun-Hating Gilda Jacobs is at it again... Michigan's most vociferous anti-gun state representative, Gilda Jacobs of Huntington Woods, is trying to attack our new concealed-weapons law once again.Rep. Jacobs just sent a memo out to all of the State House members telling them that she's going to introduce a new bill which will bar concealed carry from public libraries.This should infuriate every CCW licensee in the state. Even though there has never been a problem with CCW in Michigan libraries or libraries in any other "shall-issue" state, Rep. Jacobs want to keep us all out of the libraries that we pay for and support.Rep. Jacobs is currently seeking support from other legislators in the form of co-sponsorship for her soon-to-be-released bill. It's up to us to make our legislators aware of the fact that we won't tolerate any more of this sort of attack on our collective character. Denying us access to the libraries is denying us our First Amendment rights unless we agree to deny ourselves our second Amendment right. That's just plain un-American.So contact your representatives and tell them that this idea of Jacobs is for the birds.
