CEDAR RAPIDS -- Robert Lee Frank, 28, of Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty Friday to federal charges of possession of a firearm and ammunition after having been convicted of domestic abuse in Linn County.
Authorities said Frank's vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation in Cedar Rapids on June 22. Police found a loaded .22-caliber pistol in Frank's pocket, authorities said.
Frank faces up to 10 years in prison and $250,000 fine when he's sentenced. No date for sentencing has been set.
