AFA NY LAUNCHESAFA National is pleased to announce the launching of AFA-NY web site and Diane McKeough as the New York State Director/National States Director for AFA. She is a welcome addition to Armed Females with her extensive experience as an activist for the "Second Amendment Movement."I had the priviledge to work with Diane in another women's organization, and I can attest to the fact that Diane is a tireless and dedicated "freedom fighter." She is a full time student, mother, friend and still finds time to hold rallys, write letters to her congressmen, organize booths at gun shows, man her web site, as well as a host of other activities.Diane along with her Co-Director Tom Burman were instrumental in gathering several hundred signatures for the "Arm Pilots Now" petition. This is an issue that AFA feels strongly about and has been behind from the beginning. Dennis Jackson, an Advisor for AFA, drafted the petition that will ultimately be presented to the Congressional Conference Committee by Rep. Bob Barr.AFA would like to encourage ALL like-minded men and women in the New York area to visit the AFA/NY web site to see what is going on in your state. Don't forget to check out how you can become a member of Armed Females of America. We're a "NO-COMPROMISE" organization that is advocating the repeal ALL gun-laws, back to and including NFA 34. http://www.armedfemalesofamerica.com/archive.php?aid=93
