You must get rid of Rep. Barbara Lee ( D )! She was the lone vote against the use of force in dealing with the terrorists. What kind of person could vote against this? This woman is a danger to our country. In fact, in my mind, she is guilty of treason. Please, vote her out of office. Thank you for reading.

Evil ATF, I resemble that remark! Not all of us La-la landers are treasonous, cowardly, draft-dodging scum. I never voted for Klinton, Swinestein, Poxer, OR this Lee (flea?) character!
I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.--Voltare

following the attack on pearl harbor, the congress voted to declare war on the axis powers. 50 (yes, 50) members of congress voted against the resolution. one woman member (i want to say from wyoming but maybe wrong) had been ousted after voting against ww I entry, only to be reelected just in time to vote against ww II declaration. she was only member to vote agaisnt both. at no time during revolution were more than 50% of people in favor of war. you never have total agreement.

Unless this Rep.'s vote represents the views of a majority of the constituents in her District, those voters ought to be filing a recall petition on Monday. I agree w/ hacker - we will not ever have 100% consensus on any course of action, no matter how heinous the crime. At least one resident of this country can't even use 'is' in the same way the rest of us do. Perhaps (I hope) she is simply an honest pacifist (e.g., a Quaker). No matter how infuriating her vote to most of us, however, we must allow free expression of views or we lose the essence of our freedom and values and are no better than the cowardly vermin who attacked us. OTOH, this *doesn't* mean we (or in this case, the residents of PRoK) should give such people a position of authority from which to speak / act.

I just got stationed here and these people really piss me off! I got yelled at for having an NRA sticker on my truck! I promptly threatened to whip his * and he wouln't back up what he had just said. I really hope this is a minority of the people or someone may get an * whoopin' for runnin' their mouth. Already I have heard on many occasions that war is stupid and we should arrest those responsible? Why? So more people can die when their brothers want revenge! No, KILL every last terrorist and brag about it, that might help a little! Anyone who votes not to punish these idiots by military force is worthless in my eyes and doesn't deserve the office to which elected. I am willing to bet that many of these pacifists here in Kalifornia say everyone else is wrong for voting TO use the military. I am sure there are decent people here that want her gone but no one will ever hear from them on KTLA. Sorry to babble but I hate this place. Sorry to all of you good Californians, but your weirdos always seem to stand out because there are so damn manny of them. Will out!

Now, Evil, ... let's not condemn all Californians for the (ignorant) actions of a majority who DID vote for those anti-American representatives. After all, we here in WA state could be condemned for living where a liberal majority sent Patty Murray and Maria Can't-do-well to the US Seenate.Problem is there are too many sheeple in the big cities who buy into the liberal propaganda that is taught from the first day in school till they die. Some humans are simply incapable of independant thought and buy in to the malarky. Those of us who are intelligent enough to think for ourselves have an uphill battle to educate the masses.

Hehehehe, you may have a point. However, I'd like to take the opportunity to point out that the reason we have the current politicians here in WA state is DIRECTLY due to the high influx of Californian immigrants. They move away from Cali so that they can be free of the gangs, violence and horrible inflation, yet they bring the same socialist politics with them to OUR voting booths that caused the problems in the first place. I'm pretty anti-Californian, in case you couldn't tell! But, it goes without saying that my anti-Cali feelings do not extend to the gun-owning Conservatives living in occupied Kalifornia. Keep the Faith. Maybe Fiendstein will have a camel fall on her next time she leaves the office.

Not everyone from Kalifornia is a freakin liberal kommie. I for one reside in the last frontier of Kalifornia, Western Siskiyou County. We don't have too many Democratic Gun Grabbers up here. The problem is that Southern Kal holds all the votes. Fortunately most of them stay down there, and the few that do migrate north realize they are way not surrounded by Friends when they start with the anti gun rhetoric. Hopefully some day Southern Kal will fall off into the Pacific and we will be rid of our Kommunist Brethren to the south. The only time we came close to slamming the door on them was back in the 40's when A movement was started to Create the STATE OF JEFFERSON, A bunch of the old timers realized the folly involved with trying to manage a region when the people of LA LA Land held all the political horsepower. Unfortunately the movement died out when World War II started. By now the state would be thriving. http://www.jeffersonstate.com/firstmap.html Hunt Fish Repeat.

ghotie -There's a town or county in the West somewhere (Utah, Nev?) that's in the process of switching state affiliation. If the ppl of your county are overwhelmingly anti-scumbag liberal, that might be an option.
