OK i want one and i saw one in the store for 500 it was in 7.62 w/ folding stock, don't know what model, i will find out Monday. i was doing some research and decided i want one with a 1.5mm thick receiver cause it will hold up better from what i read (meaning if i want to blow a crap of ammo through it at once)

i was looking at Norinco online cause of the thicker reciever. but anyways what is a decent model (preban of course) to get, that shoots 7.62 that is accurate and good for plinking.

You can gather pricing info here on GB.
Go to the main page, select the Semi-auto" catory of rifles, and type in "AK-47".
There arer 140 hits on that model, currently.

It'll give you a run down on what people are selling, and what they want for their rifle.
Reviewing each description, learning the differences, and judging for yourself why neach piece is priced as it is, will make you a more informed buyer when you choose your rifle, be it from a local shop, or the guy across town.

If it is your first, and there is no buddy to guide you, it might be better to get a beater, learn the good points and bad points, then build your own.

Recently we have had a few Yugo with the underfolding stocks come through our store...you should check them out. They are a lot like the Poly tec in the way they are made....pretty nice and around $500

Over 80 million of them have been built with the 1mm thick reciever(so I understand) & have held up pretty well.
I've built 7 so far for under $200 each. They all shoot about the same, as far as I can tell.
You'll like it, no matter what you end up with.
