I bought a box of 56 grapefruits at the farmers market. The wife eats a 1/2 of one every other day. I eat the other half so in 6 weeks how many grapefruits will be left?

A friend sent me this math problem thinking I was good at it, I fooled him, I'm not.

    If:

    2+3=10
    7+2=63
    6+5=66
    8+4=96

    9+7= ?

A teacher was having trouble teaching arithmetic to Little Johnny .

So she said , "If you reached in your right pocket and found a 5 dollar bill, and you
reached in your left pocket and found another one, what would you have?"

"Somebody else's pants." said the Little Johnny

1? It never says the first jump is in the direction of the log, he might just jump off the end on his very first jump.

Either 1 or 20, depending on which direction he is facing

When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

1....because it was an old Cottonwood log and the bark was rough. So, he jumped off sideways saying, "This chafes my butt".
See how good I am at figuring out things?

Knifeuser was correct, the answer is 19.
On the 19th jump he clears the log by one foot and cannot slide back.
