What's with ABC TV

I heard something on the radio comin' to the shop this morning about ABC telling one of it's reporters he couldn't wear an American Flag lapel pin. Y'all know anything about this? Are we going to have to boycott ABC?

    Make a list of advertisers that sponsor their news. Drop theses manufacturers an email declaring your intent not to purchase their products due to the fact that ABC is anti American and shows disrespect for the WTC dead and injured!

    This may be a repeat of a report of an incident which occurred shortly after the atrocities where a NYC area ABC-owned station made it policy that their employees could not display flags in the newsroom / offices / etc. for fear of offending someone (OBL, perhaps?). Given the craven crap spewed forth by Peter Jennings & Bill Maher in the immediate aftermath of the atrocities, I would certainly not be surprised. I've blocked all ABC broadcasts on cable, satellite & broadcast on my electronics. Only thing I miss is Monday Night Football & figure that if they lose enough money, somebody else will be broadcasting that soon, anyway.

    On 9/12 I sent ABC an e-mail to the effect that I would not watch any ABC until they fired that Ahole Jennings. His comments calling our President a coward because he didn't return immediately to DC did it for me. I will miss Monday Night Football, Jeopardy, and Whose Line Is It Anyway but a small price to pay for avoiding supporting ABC.

    I must have missed all this. I just sent this this email:ABC has some shows that I enjoy, however due to your UnAmerican stand in prohibition of flag wearing, I will no longer be a viewer and will advise primary advertisers of same. God Bless America!Maybe we get enough folks doin' something they will get the message.Maybe it really stands for - Afgan Broadcasting Co.

    Got an email back from 'em. It was just a copy of Bill Maher's apology.This ain't what I was hearing about this morning I don't think. Way the folks on the radio was talking it sounded like something that just happened. Something about an ABC newsperson wearing a flag lapel pin at a press conference. Anybody know any more?

    ABC, CBS, and NBC are socialist networks dedicated to the destruction of our freedoms. The sooner the American people wake up and realize this and boycott the sponsers of these bastards the better. These socialist jerks do not represent the real America.     Could it be that they consider themselves as the true "American Broadcasting Company"? as in Canada, U.S.A., Mexico,and all those other countries that make up the Americas? and at last count, that would mean the wearing of nearly 30 flags, or maybe they're scared, their offices are in A real tall building too,

    All 3 networks have long demonstrated what the c in their call letters stand for. I will admit I have watched certain programs in the past but in the future Iwill not support any business or T.V.station that in anyway supports the terroist acts of 9-11.

    I was once an avid baseball fan, but when a player making multi millions strikes for any reason in betrayal of their loyal fans,they might just as well go on to hell and start playing for the devil. Just look at the upper deck and the partially filled second deck and you may get the idea that I'm not the only crazy in the bunch.

    BBB nailed it. Seems most of the newspapers as well are communist/socialist. Also the US needs to be more agressive not passive. It was bad enough when Jennings and his ilk were reporting every move Bush was making the day of the attack. Seemed like they were trying to generate some earth shattering news by letting everyone know the Prez's every move.
