Distributors For FFL Dealers?

Hola folks. I have a few questions. I recently got my FFL and I've signed up with Davidsons. They seem like good people, but I want to keep my options open by not handicapping myself with just one distributor. Further more, they only offer Remington ammo, which it fine for hunting or competition, but I need to find some good plinking ammo to stock as well. Can any of the dealers here recommend some distributors for the following: 1. Firearms2. Ammunition3. Body Armor4. Targets5. Holsters, Acessories, Etc.I appreciate the help. I've been searching the Net and have turned up a few guys, but the pricing seems too high for a lot of them. Gracias in advance.

Bubba:I'm planning on buying in bulk, but I'd like to buy in bulk at dealer cost and not at "wholesale". LTS:I kinda got that impression. After seeing Davidson's dealer cost, it's a wonder that their retailers can stay in business.I brought this thread up because a few weeks ago I saw some dealers talking here on GB about the various distributors they used. However, I can't find the thread. I was hoping somebody wouldn't mind posting the names, address's, and websites again.

Pick up a copy of Shotgun News, for the smaller wholesalers. The ATF sells lists to the major distributors, so watch your mailbox, it will soon be bulging. Davidson's gives everything a free lifetime replacement guarantee because you pay for at least two up front.DB
The more people I meet, the more I like my dogs.

IMHO, the Shotgun News is a lousy source for distributor info. Why patronize a distributor that advertises wholesale prices in a paper anyone can buy?I go with Jerry's every time.

I have had an FFL for 24 years. Virtually all my orders today go to Jerry's, Sports South, Ron Shirk's, and SOG..depending upon what I need. Sports South has a fine website where you can check stock and place orders quickly with e-mail confirmation of the exact amount due for delivery. They have some good specials and pay all the shipping on orders above $299..which help a lot on ammo orders. I recently got Rem UMC 9mm for $5.29/box delivered to my door in rural Colorado.

Jerrys Sport Center & The Jerry "Family" of wholesalers are great. I could type a chapter on how well I have been treated. These two are interesting, especially for bulk ammo, military stuff, scary guns etc.Southern Ohio Gun (SOG)240 Harmon Ave.P.O. cpermd, Evil-ATF, I know what's been "posted" around but I have had no problems at all. Pre-ban beta C-mags are a good thing.
