I went home to the gunstore today, and something new to my suprise on the rack was a new Armalite AR180B, so of coarse I had to finger it. I picked it up drooled on it, then I flipped over the price tag $599....your kidding, thats all, $599, thats cheap. So I asked my buddy, "dude, did you accidentally put the wrong price tag on this gun?", "Nope, thats how much it is." Wow.... Armalite really hit a good market. A sweet gun for a sweet price. My next purchase is sure to be one. I did know about them, but I though they were going to be in the 899-100 price range, I didn't know they were going to be in the 600.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

I understand that though they look quite a bit like an AR-15, their operating mechanics are quite different. However, I haven't heard any feedback on how they perform so far.

I'm very curious to know if parts are interchangable with original AR180 parts. I wonder if I will be able to put an original side folding stock on it after the 94 AR ban summits in a year.
