Can you guys remember when you used to look forward to the Police Auctions.I remember going with my uncle as a young man to the Police auctions, where they auctioned off what they had confiscated that year from raids,Drug dealers felons etc.Boy I remember I couldnt wait until the guns were auctioned off.It was a good thing for citizens and Police agencys as well. You could buy guns cheap and the Police agencies used the money to buy needed equipment. That was the days.I cant remember the last one there was.I know most of them now are sold by the whole lot by sealed bids to large FFL holders out of State,so the guns dont show back up in a particular crime in the State. But thats the lucky ones, most get destroyed and scraped. That makes me sick.I think the guns should be auctioned off in the City or County where they were confiscated to the citizens of that area.I guess things will never be like they used to be.But boy was those auctions a blast!!

On the AK's and M16's, if a citizen can legally own one, who gives them the right/power/authority to say no.
Save, research, then buy the best.Join the NRA, NOW!Teach them young, teach them safe, teach them forever, but most of all, teach them to VOTE!
Hint for good auctions. Only go to the ones advertising 2 or three firearms. That's where I get bargains. Bought an older Colt Cobra for $165.00. It was like new and one of only three guns at the auction.
If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.
