AMT Auction

FYI, I received a sale bill in the mail the other day advertising the "Absolute Auction" of Galena Industries manufacturers of AMT Automags and the Backup. It's Thursday July 25th in Sturgis, SD. You can call the Auctioneer at 605.348.5261 or visit their website at www.dakotabiz.com .

I have a Backup in .45 that has never failed to go bang when I desired it to. The trigger is stout but for the "Worlds smallest semi-automatic .45" it's a great gun. I wonder what will happen to the rights to these pistols, will someone pick them up and make them or will AMT become a footnote in American firearms history?

    What a drag. I guess I'd hoped they could put the business back on its feet. I'd sure like to have some of the .45 magazines.

    They are a fairly popular Gun maker surely someone will buy the company and continue to produce quality guns. I hope.

    I'm looking at a Numrich Gun Parts flyer and they show them at 12.95 in 9,40,45 and 38 super. But that's a catalog, what they have on hand might be different their # is 877.486.7278.
