My wife was diagnosed w/ Bells Palsy tonight. We just got back from the hospital and I am trying to find the post you had left concerning your diagnosis of the same affliction. As I recall many members forwarded serveral good suggestions along with many good websites dealing directly with Bells Palsy. I think the post is too old to be in the archives, (I cannot find it) if you would be so kind as to forward any of these sites to me it would be greatly appreciated upon my and my wifes behalf. Thanks. johnandlilia@sunflower.net

I was VERY lucky. Mine was a mild case. A tiny bit of numbness remains about my right eye and cheekbone, but I am about 99%.

Our prayers are with your wife for a total quick recovery...being medical, I have seen people totally baffled by this condition, thinking they are having a stroke... they are so scared and unwilling to accept the dx that it is Bells Palsy, and just resign themselves to a stroke, hindering the recovery process. The mind can do some weird things...
We will be thinking of you and your wife..Take Care
If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.
