Tracy Byrd, Just Let Me Be In Love. Hes on GAC right now, I love that song, have to turn it up. Anyone else just like to listen to their kind of music and sit and type here, like I do? Sometimes I get to wondering about what the other members are doing, we need web cams.

I just finished applying a new finish to my 03. My own idea, sort of, lemon oil and bees wax melted together to form a car paste wax like consistency, rubbed in well, wipe off excess, admire the shine, better than furniture polish. My version of boiled linseed oil, it works.

Usually I line all my vintage rifles and shotguns against the wall and look at them, while wearing a smoking jacket, sipping cognac, and smoking a fine cigar. All that, while I search the threads for the word 'bee',so I can say"Did someone say somethin` about bees?".218

Listen to the Jazz station locally, Smooth Jazz 98.1 FM. Resized, trimmed, and soap-and-water scrubbed .30-'06 brass drying in the oven, just from the heat of the pilot light. Working with mil-style leather slings, the kind with two holes. Mink oiled one and left it to soak in the last two days, put it back on the Garand tonight. Just dyed another (for one of my 03-A3s) and have it up drying, will mink oil it as well before it goes on. And oh, yeah, Hoppe's is soaking in the barrels of my .222 and another 03-A3 that I was out shooting this last Friday.Dang, I never realized how much I was doing while I was sitting on my butt!

I always jam some music in the computer CD player when I'm on-line. Usually blues.

We, at one time could click up KOOV from OKC and have it on while we did other computer tasks. But if it is enjoyable and harmless some tiny ,unimportant person will put a stop to it.

I'm with you, v35. If I could get off this board I could conquer the world. I don't have the web at home so it's Monday through Friday for me. I come in Monday and everybody is in a huff and I wonder what I missed.

Well, that's one of the nice parts about having a job that relates to computers. I sit here and work while I look at all the guns I'd like to buy (and reading all the posts). The downside is I spend more time in front of my monitor than I do shooting.I also listen to my MP3s or watch tv. For any of you who like to multitask, I've had great success with the ATI All-In-Wonder card. It allows me to play/work on the computer while I watch tv or DVDs on my computer at the same time. I can record clips from cable tv or even entire shows, etc.

I just usually listen to the second broadcast of the Michael Savage talk show. The Savage Nation is a real hoot. He is very pro-gun too.

Well khegglie,we like smoking jackets, cognac from a brandy snifter(or beer,or DR. Pepper)guns, fine cigars, though some of us only smoke the bubble gum cigars.Anything that raises our self image to that of fine, cultured, yet rugged country gentlemen...rather than that of the working stiffs that we are.All that plus ya get a cool title, like:~Sir Lord Hegglie~~Lord Beekeeper~[This message has been edited by 218Beekeep (edited 01-09-2002).]

Lord Beekeeper..I have a good friend that has family that resides in Cuba. He keeps me supplied with fine tasting cigars. He gave me 2 for the holidays. One says MOYA Habana and the other says LA FLOR DE CANO Habana. Have you smoked either? I might have to light one up while I contemplate my next gun purchase.
