Front disc pads on the Frontier will soon be due.The ones that are on it are the kind that I cant keep the brake dust off the wheels.Nice clean wheels, drive 10 miles and the wheels are black again. What material are the pads that don't put off massive amounts of brake dust?

According to the above:
The dustiest pads are the Semi-metallic.
The organic pads are in the middle.
The least dusty are the ceramic.
There are trade-offs to each, and, as with the pads themselves, YMMV.

You may want to consider asking the Toyota dealer for original equipment type - unless that is what you have.
I think a frontier is nissan.......
I replaced the ones on my car a few weeks ago with Bosch QuietCast Ceramic Disc Brake Pads and I'm not getting any dust with them and they are quiet.

I'd recommend their STREET pad option. LOW dust, no noise, and they will bite hard.
