Weather gizmos killing my internet speed

I like these, but my phone line connection is only 24000bps and it takes forever for a post to roll down when a lot of them have these.

I would like to get a fast internet connection, but were I live it is not available yet, heck I am lucky to have phone lines. I live in western Virginia and all the tax dollars goes to the east.

If you have your cookies enabled for GB once you view the weather doohickies for the first time your browser will not have to download them again speeding up your browsing. When someone posts a picture you have to wait for it to load but when you come back to it the pic pops right up, that is what the cookies do for you.

I just have phone line connection at 48,000 bps and they load fine for me. Faster than most other sites actually.

Just make sure they are chocolate chip, the peanutbutter ones slow things up a bit[:p]

Warpig this site is still to my connection faster than a lot of other sites also, but it is getting slower. I have noticed a big difference lately. I will check and see what kind of cookies I have. Thanks for the advise.
