How do you like your ice cream?

Straight out of the freezer or sit out for awhile to soften. I'm about to make me a strawberry sundae and I like the vanilla ice cream soft.

Homemade, straight out of the hand crank bucket. When we milked cows the cream would get skimmed off the top of the milk we drank. We would use it to make the ice cream. Use ice and rock salt around the hand crank cylinder and crank, and crank, and crank until it got thick. Put some big old strawberries straight out of the garden in it and let it melt in you mouth.
